Working with new and unexpected materials can be exciting. Sadly I wasn't particularly impressed with the designs (a bit artsy-fartsy ugly for my taste) or materials that require special treatment. Cotton quilts can be cleaned in a domestic washing machine but how do you launder organza or silk quilts with delicate appliques?
