This was my first time reading a book by Susan May Warren, and boy, am I glad that I did! I loved this book so much. I couldn’t put it down and couldn’t stop thinking about it when I did have to put it down. Not only was the espionage action and mystery really fun, the romance was so awesome! I loved Kat’s enduring faith through all trials, it was very inspiring. I loved Vadeem and his love for Kat which he always showed through his actions. I found myself re-reading some scenes between the two,

I really wanted to enjoy this book more, and some of it is really good, but I was going a little crazy with the drama between the two main characters. "I like him, I don't like him, I really like him, I don't like him," on and on! I mean, I know you can't have a happily ever after at the beginning of a story but I almost didn't care to get to the end to find out because they were driving me crazy with the back and forth. I have read quite a few Susan May Warren books and have not been disappointed yet. This is the first book of hers that I have read that was more in the action/adventure genre--usually the ones I choose are more romance or humor--but I really enjoyed it! This book held my attention and was fast paced and action packed. I found the characters interesting and believable.
